David Martin is a guitarist, singer, and educator based in Baden, Ontario.

David is a graduate of the Applied Music Program at Mohawk college, where he studied jazz guitar and composition.

After college, he became well versed in many popular styles of music while working on cruise ships, playing in musicals, various cover bands, and original projects with singers and songwriters

More recently, David has been taking on the role of a solo entertainer, singing and playing a wide range of covers. With his knowledge and skill on the guitar, he prides himself on taking a unique approach to difficult and engaging material. He is also a member of the rock band Leaving Esmeralda, which released 2 albums of original material.

Lessons

I offer lessons in Guitar, Ukulele, Theory and Composition, as well as beginner piano. I have been teaching music for over 10 years. Lessons are always personalized and tailored to the student's needs and goals. I pride myself on making lessons fun for children and adults.

I'm experienced and knowledgeable in many styles of music and have unique approaches for all ages and skill levels.

Lessons can be taught in my home office in Bloor West Village, or I'm willing to travel within reasonable distance if in-home lessons are desired. Many of my clients with multiple children prefer in-home lessons as I am able to provide individual lessons to each child within the same evening and from the convenience of their own home

David Martin’s Guitar Lessons are everything that I was looking for. As a student with little experience as from childhood I decided to get back into guitar and David was able to provide exercises and songs that prompted quick learning.
